Poet Glenn North has signed on to collaborate with Astra Theatre Company for a new public performance series: FREESPACE. Curated and produced by Astra Theatre Company, FREESPACE aims to cultivate creative energy across Kansas City.
For the first edition of FREESPACE, three black performing artists will interpret the words of Glenn North, creating safely distanced pop up performances across the city at no cost to viewers. A placemaking endeavor, FREESPACE will provide innovative and accessible performances that nurture local artists and in turn, our community.
